Diamante has engaged in an exceptionally unique opportunity to form a long-term partnership with the PGA TOUR to host the World Wide Technology Championship for years to come.
The full event schedule for 2023 is available, including the televised event scheduled to take place at El Cardonal from November 2 – 5 and a non-televised Pro-Am event scheduled for November 1.
This is the first major televised event to occur at Diamante, and we are thrilled to showcase our development, Diamante’s hospitality, and our exceptional staff to a global audience through the World Wide Technology Championship. Our team realizes that with this incredible opportunity, there will be extensive work required by the project and we are committed to ensuring that Diamante is well represented for our TV audiences, participants, and guests.
Additionally, while El Cardonal will be closed for an extended period leading up to tournament week, we look forward to reopening the golf course on November 7 for our annual Club Championship. Club Championship participants will then have the opportunity to enjoy the golf course in similar conditions and with similar pin placements as the tour players had just a few days earlier.
For those living at Diamante, we assure you that we are keeping your comfort and security as a top priority. We are working closely with law enforcement resources to increase security for the duration of the event and to aid our team in boosting visibility and monitoring efforts throughout the community.
We want to be clear on how Diamante may be impacted in the weeks leading up to the event and event week itself, so we have created an informational document that you can access at your convenience. This document will be updated regularly as we receive additional information on the event, necessary closures, infrastructure and site-work activities, and beyond.
