Rosca de Reyes Celebration

Diamante will celebrate the tradition of Rosca de Reyes on Saturday, January 6. Join us for complimentary hot chocolate and Rosca de Reyes from 6 – 8pm at the Dunes Courtyard and OCR lobby, as well as from 4 – 6pm at Amigos Restaurant during the Welcome Party.

This tradition, also known as The Three Kings Day, is among the oldest in Mexico and traces its origins to the three Wise Men who brought gifts to Jesus after his birth. Rosca de Reyes is a sweet bread adorned with dried fruit, shaped like an oval to symbolize a crown, and often contains a hidden baby Jesus doll.
